MRE Heater Introduction
The MRE Heater, or Flameless Ration Heater (FRH), is an eco-friendly and water-activated innovation. It efficiently heats an individual 8-ounce meal for soldiers.
It rapidly and safely heats food without fire. It raises the temperature of an 8 oz food pouch by at least 90°F using just 2 oz of plain water, making the food ready in 10-12 minutes without flame or electricity.

How to Use It?
The FRH is individually packed in a durable, leak-proof polybag, doubling as the heating container.
1) Tear open the heater sleeve at the indicated arrow. Insert the unopened meal pouch.
2) Add plain water to the marked 'Fill Line'.
3) Fold the sleeve top. Secure the meal with the label to the heater pouch.
4) Position the heater next to the MRE food portion. Slide both back into the heater pouch.
5) In just 12 minutes, your hot meal is ready! A Hot MealAnytime, Anyplace.
6) Dispose of the heater and bag after use.
